Becci commenced her career in the Australian insurance industry, spending time in IT, Business Improvement and Operational Leadership roles, and leading teams of between 10 to 60 people. During her time at Insurance Australia Group, she undertook a postgraduate degree in Change Management, fuelled by a passion for helping her team capitalise on the opportunities that change presents.
In 2010, she was seeking a change, so she moved to Hong Kong and transitioned to a role as a trainer and executive coach. Becci develops and coaches leaders from across the Asia Pacific region. One of her key goals is facilitating leadership growth in leaders as they manage the challenges of leading diverse regional or global teams. She has a passion for creating learning environments where people from all cultures can openly discuss their issues, pick apart ideas and explore how concepts can practically work for them. She brings her commercial acumen to her coaching and training, using it to help her clients find ways to achieve tangible results.
One of Becci’s ongoing areas of interest is conflict in the workplace. This prompted her to become a conflict coach, and to certify as a mediator. She uses her expertise in this area to assist leaders explore patterns of communication with the people around them, in order to increase self-awareness and consider key areas for development.
One constant of Becci’s career has been a deep commitment to developing talent. As an executive coach accredited by the International Coach Federation, she works with her clients to develop their strategic self-awareness, respond to their individual circumstances, and develop their own personal vision for success.
