As the Academic Director of the Women and Leadership Australia, Dr Eva Bernat brings a broad range of expertise from both the education and corporate sectors. She has held a number of leadership roles in Higher Education, including Postgraduate Program Director at Macquarie University and the University of New South Wales. In her Associate Dean role at the University of Notre Dame Australia, and as member of its Learning and Teaching Committee, Eva played a pivotal role in the development of staff, programs and policies, and contributed to the University’s strategic direction.
Eva has advised governments in South Korea, Vietnam, and in Australia as a member on the Director General Advisory Board for Multicultural Education and Training in New South Wales. Her other industry consultancies include Wesley Mission Learning and Development, Electrodata Pty. Ltd., and Rainier Group Australia where, as a consultant and business partner, she managed high-end client projects and other deliverables.
Eva has delivered several thought-leadership keynotes nationally and internationally, and has published two books, over thirty scholarly articles and book chapters, and various industry reports and white papers. Eva is passionate about empowering women to reach their full potential as leaders and game changers.
