Supporting leadership development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women

Applications have now closed.

As part of the Inaugural Indigenous Women’s Leadership Symposium, Women & Leadership Australia is offering full attendance grants to current and aspiring women leaders to attend the Symposiums. The purpose of the grants is to ensure the views of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences are represented at the event.

The grants will be awarded to current and aspiring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who play active roles at the community, local and state levels, and who would otherwise be unable to attend the Symposium due to a lack of funding or employer support. WLA appreciates that the cost of participating in the Symposium can be out of reach for those who work within particular sectors or who come from different backgrounds and experiences, so the grants have been created to provide an opportunity for these women to also get involved in the event, and connect, share ideas and enhance their leadership skills.

Please note that the grants do not cover flights or accommodation costs associated with attendance at the Symposium.

Applications close on Friday 18th October, 2019.

Only successful applicants will be contacted by WLA. If successful, we will be in touch via email by Monday 21st October, 2019.
