Supporting, connecting and empowering female leaders in Australia’s regional and remote communities
For over fourteen years, Women & Leadership Australia has been guiding women, at all stages of their journey, towards greater career success and life satisfaction. An important focus for us over the years has been supporting, teaching and connecting women who are less able to access development opportunities, particularly those in regional and remote locations.
Through the Australian Women’s Leadership Forum, many thousands of regional women have benefitted from cutting edge development, peer level networking and inspirational strategy and advice. Since its creation in 2007, the Australian Women & Leadership Forum has been embraced by regional communities across the country as a powerful vehicle to help support female leaders and their organisations. The huge success of the program has been underpinned by the fact that the program generates exceptional outcomes for participants as well as creating powerful opportunities for local businesses. The content is shaped and guided by input from a wide range of stakeholders including leading Australian universities, industry groups, major employers and thousands of individual female leaders.

Speaking in every city
Regardless of where we live and work and whether or not we hold formal management positions, issues of empowerment, wellbeing, connection and equality are important to all women. The Australian Women’s Leadership Forum is designed to be a motivating and inspirational experience for all female leaders and indeed all women. The program meets key development priorities for less experienced female leaders but is equally rewarding for more experienced leaders providing new insights and an opportunity to step away from everyday challenges. For all women the program provides a timely opportunity to reflect on past experiences and reenergise for the journey ahead.
