About Drisana Levitzke-Gray
Drisana Levitzke-Gray is an award-winning Deaf advocate, educator, and speaker based in Western Australia. She is a Deaf interpreter who works across four languages and brings lived experience, professional expertise, and community leadership to her work advancing equity, access, and language rights for Deaf people and Auslan.
Drisana teaches Auslan and delivers consulting, training, tutoring, and public speaking across government, education, private, and business sectors. Her work is grounded in Deaf-led practice and focuses on human rights, language access, and authentic representation. She is also an experienced performer and presenter, known for engaging audiences while challenging systems to be more inclusive and accountable.
A 2015 Young Australian of the Year recipient and the youngest inductee into Western Australia Women’s Hall of Fame, Drisana is recognised nationally for her leadership and advocacy. She is passionate about shaping a future where Deaf children and young people grow up with access, opportunity, and pride in their language and identity.
