CAFBA are pleased to announce that registrations are once again open to participate in one of Women & Leadership Australia’s leadership development programs for women working in the equipment finance sector.

Expressions of interest for scholarships are now open, and close on Friday 8 December 2023.

About the CAFBA and Women & Leadership Australia Partnership

For the past eight years, CAFBA have partnered with Women & Leadership Australia to address gender imbalance in the commercial and equipment finance industry by supporting more women to build their leadership capability through world-class leadership development programs.

​73 scholarships have been provided so far to CAFBA women through this partnership, enabling them to undertake one of Women & Leadership Australia’s flagship leadership development programs. Graduates have found their experience to be enriching and beneficial, both personally and professionally.

​The programs will support you to unlock your leadership potential, build confidence, reflect and open up networking opportunities to learn from women across finance and other industries. We encourage you to nominate yourself, colleagues or members of your staff who want to take the next step in their careers.

The scholarships available will cover part of the program fees, however CAFBA will endeavour to find sponsors to assist with the balance of the fees.

Early Career Managers

​Delivered part-time over four months, Leading Edge is designed to enable the transition of aspiring and early career female managers into confident, capable and motivated leaders.

CAFBA has built such an amazing partnership with Women & Leadership Australia. In three years we increased female membership from 8% to 27% and it continues to grow. We have now put over 60 women through the various WLA courses, and the feedback has been excellent, with all recipients expressing the positive changes the courses have made in their lives, both professionally and personally.
